Thanks to the generous efforts of organizer Bonnie Linden, close to 30 presenters, and a crew of enthusiastic volunteers, the Reskilling Expo was an inspiring success on October 17. The Fellowship Hall and courtyard at the Methodist Church resembled a beehive of intense learning activity for 6 hours of workshops on topics from jam-making to the transformation of the corporate system.
The Rolling Cultivators, a band that included atmospheric scientist and climate change presenter Peter Weiss, UCSC Farm manager Jim Leap, and CASFS staffer Jan Perez, entertained at lunch hour.
