Housing & Land Use Action Plan
Transition's new Housing and Land Use Working Group will present their ideas regarding the Santa Cruz draft General Plan and invites your input. The General Plan will guide development and transportation decisions through 2030. As such, it is essential to our goals of sustainability and housing affordability. Now is the time to have influence in the the process.
We'll start with a video clip of an interview with New Urbanism pioneer Peter Calthorpe, and examples from Portland. Next, we'll hear from David Foster about the working group's proposals, and get feedback in small groups. To look at the Working Group's recommendations in advance, click here.
