It is a time of change.

How can we deal with it?  How can we be a part of shaping it?

Transition Santa Cruz is offering an 8 week class/ support group, focusing on Riding and Guiding the Tide of Change.

Here are some of the questions we will cover:

  • How do we welcome change in our lives?
  • How can we be effective stewards of change?
  • How do we balance our responsibilities (job, family, social time) with our desire to contribute to a better world?
  • What kind of inner tools will help and what kind of support network will work help us ride and guide  the changes happening all around us?

We will be utilizing the tools of Joanna Macy’s “Work that Reconnects”, Transition Handbook’s information on the Psychology of Addiction, Buddhist meditation practice and Re-evaluation Counseling to help us in answering these questions.

To check out what this is all about, we will have an introductory evening and a chance to get a taste of the class.
