Larger workshop to be offered soon
Solar food dehydration is an excellent low-fossil fuel way to preserve food. This workshop is not meant to be instructional, but a cooperative venture, figuring out together how to build a sun-powered home food dehydrator. (Primary reference book: The Solar Food Dryer by Eben Fodor, 2006)
If you sign up for this workshop, you will either be responsible for bringing your own materials or you can simply come and watch and help others do theirs. Materials lists will be available to those who sign up.
Because this is a bit of an experiment, we are limiting the workshop to the first 12 who sign up. If there’s sufficient interest, we plan on doing a more instructional workshop in late August, building on the experience of this one.
